Ticket Information
Please note: tickets are required for commencement.
Our long-standing commencement venue, Overlake Christian Church, has sold a portion of their parking lot. This sale has changed OCC's building capacity limits and requires that we limit our attendance at Commencement to 3,000 people. To comply with these new regulations, we will be requiring tickets for the 2026 Commencement ceremony.
Specific directions on how to register for tickets will be released during the week of March 2nd. However, below are a few details that should help in your commencement planning.
2026 Graduates will each be eligible to register for 6 guest tickets. In your registration confirmation email, there will be an opportunity to sign up for a waiting list to get up to 4 more tickets (for a total of 10 tickets). This waitlist will operate on a first come, first serve basis. You cannot get on this list prior to registration opening. We aim to notify graduates in early April if they will be receiving extra tickets. As this is a new process for NU, we do not have specific dates in place and may need to make adjustments on short notice. Thank you for your understanding.
Due to the capacity regulations, every person in the building will require a ticket no matter if they be 0 or 100+. An infant in the lap is still another person in the building and therefore will need a ticket.
