萌妹社区 Partnership Program Grants

Federal Pell Grant

Eligibility: Financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. A student can receive a Federal Pell Grant for no more than 12 semesters or the equivalent (roughly six years).

Amount: Pell Grant award amounts may change from year to year. See  for current award amounts.

Renewal: Must re-apply for financial aid and maintain satisfactory academic progress.

The Federal Pell Grant is available to students who attend at least part time (six credits). In certain situations, however, a student who is enrolled for less than six credits may be eligible for a Pell Grant.

Washington College Grant (WCG)

Washington State aid is only available to Washington State residents, to be considered a resident; one of the following must be true:

  • For dependent students (according to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid), at least one parent must have a bona fide domicile (home) in the State of Washington for at least one year before the first day of class and continue to reside in the State of Washington to maintain eligibility.
  • For independent students (according to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid), the student must have a domicile (home) in the State of Washington at least one year before the first day of classes.

Due to state law, Washington State financial aid is not available to students pursuing a major or minor offered by the College of Ministry or receiving credit for the CMIN Practicum course as part of their partnership academic program.

WCG recipients agree that the Washington Student Achievement Council (the Washington State Agency that issues the grant) and 萌妹社区 reserve the right to withdraw, reduce, or modify the grant due to funding limitations or due to changes in circumstances, which will affect the student’s eligibility for the Washington College Grant.

Eligibility: Must show financial need by the Washington College Grant formula, part of which requires that student must be pursuing a non-ministry major or career.

Amount: Amount varies each year based upon Washington State funding. See information about .

Award: All applicants who qualify for College Bound and meet all the other required eligibility criteria will be awarded. Non-College Bound eligible applicants will be awarded Washington College Grant.

Renewal: Must re-apply for financial aid and maintain Washington State satisfactory academic progress.

Application: Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Washington Application for State 萌妹社区 (WASFA).

Students who receive Washington College Grants must sign the “WCG Agreement and Directive” to receive their funds each term from Student Financial Services.

Washington Application for State 萌妹社区

Undocumented students are eligible to receive Washington College Grant funds because of the Real Hope Act, also referred to the as the Washington Dream Act, which passed the Legislature during the 2014 session and was signed into law by Governor Inslee on February 26, 2014.
