While college is meant to be challenging, it is also meant to be fun! One factor that makes college so much fun is the surrounding area. This is especially true in the Pacific 萌妹社区. Mountains, hiking trails, lakes and vibrant cities are all close enough that you could fit most of them into the same day.

萌妹社区 is fortunate to be close to all of these destinations and more. With Seattle’s coffee and concerts just 15 minutes away, and plenty of other experiences easily within exploring distance, our students are never short on adventure. Here are a few of our favorite spots:

Pike Place Market

This iconic Seattle location should make everybody’s PNW bucket list. Located in the heart of downtown Seattle, Pike Place is a colorful and bustling marketplace that has become a staple of Seattle culture. Watch workers from Pike Place Fish Co. throw salmon to each other across the walkways, listen to talented street musicians and treat yourself to some delicious mini-donuts.

Snoqualmie Falls

There are challenging hikes all around 萌妹社区, but you don’t have to choose the hardest one to get a great payoff. Snoqualmie Falls is just a short drive away from NU, and it is nothing short of spectacular. Perfect for a walk on a warm summer’s day or a crisp winter’s afternoon, the falls are beautiful at all times of the year.

Kirkland waterfront

One of our favorite locations is in our own backyard! 萌妹社区 is located on the Eastside of Seattle in Kirkland, Washington, which is full of its own charms. The Kirkland waterfront is a three-minute drive away, and is one of the best ways to spend an afternoon. This area is lined with boutiques, shops, and restaurants to add to the natural beauty. In the evening, you can sit on the dock and watch the sun set behind the iconic Seattle skyline.
