10,000 Reasons to Give Away $10,000 in Scholarships at NU Unplugged

Posted on Thursday, March 27, 2014

KIRKLAND, Wash. – 萌妹社区 is giving away $10,000 in scholarships to celebrate a social media milestone — 10,000 Facebook fans. NU’s Facebook page has become a key channel for connecting members of the NU community and telling their stories.

“We're excited to reach 10,000 fans,” said Steve Bostrom, 萌妹社区’s marketing director. “Our Facebook page is an extension of our brand, and it's gratifying to know that people have responded so positively to the expression of NU on social media. Thanks to all of the prospective students, current students, parents, and alumni who are—and continue to be—an engaged part of the NU community.”

Attend NU Unplugged and Qualify for a Chance to Earn $1,000

Students who attend NU Unplugged qualify for a chance to earn one of the ten $1,000 scholarships.

NU Unplugged Ticket

Unplugged is NU's largest event for admitted students to get an in-depth look at the campus and community. Students have the opportunity to spend the night in the dorms, meet future classmates and professors, take in live musical performances, and experience student life on campus.

“It is an exclusive ‘backstage tour’ of 萌妹社区,“ explained Anna Pflug, 萌妹社区’s director of undergraduate admissions. “Unplugged allows the student to jump right into the community before starting classes and is the perfect opportunity to determine if 萌妹社区 is the right place for them this fall. With free food, friendly competition, and a Battle of the Bands, accepted students will not want to miss NU Unplugged!”

NU Unplugged Takes Place April 24-25, 2014, and is a Free Event.

If you’re interested in attending Unplugged, but have not yet been admitted as a student, start your application.
